At Public Service Credit Union (PSCU), we believe in the power of community and the importance of supporting one another. In alignment with our commitment to the credit union philosophy of People Helping People, we are excited to announce the installation of food pantries at four of our branch locations: Flat Rock, Oak Park, Redford, and Romulus. These pantries serve as a valuable resource for local families, reinforcing our dedication to making a difference in the communities we serve.

A Community Resource: Take What You Need, Give What You Can
The PSCU Food Pantries are stocked with nonperishable food items and are open to all. The guiding principle behind this initiative is simple: Take what you need, give what you can. By fostering a spirit of generosity and support, these pantries create an accessible way for individuals and families to find relief during challenging times.
How You Can Help: Join Us in the Fight Against Food Insecurity
We invite our members and local communities to join us in this effort by donating nonperishable food items to help keep the pantries well-stocked. Items such as canned goods, boxed meals, pasta, rice, and snacks can go a long way in making a difference for those facing food insecurity. Every contribution—big or small—has a meaningful impact on the lives of our neighbors.

“We believe in the power of community and the impact we can make together,” said Deleanna Allen, Marketing Manager of Public Service Credit Union. “These pantries are a reflection of our dedication to supporting our members and neighbors. With everyone’s participation, we can create a resource that embodies generosity and hope, going beyond banking to truly support those who need it most.”
